“Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, I was always drawn to wildlife. It was while attending Lees-McRae College in North Carolina and working at a rehabilitation center on campus that I discovered my passion for avian care. I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology as well as Wildlife Biology, with a concentration in Wildlife Rehabilitation. After working at a local wildlife center and a conservation center, I decided that wildlife rehab was the path for me & the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center was a perfect fit. I was offered the position of Wildlife Hospital Technician in March of 2017 and have since advanced to Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager. I am thankful to be a part of Team Wild Bird.”
